Visits my feeders on a daily basis. Not picky, will eat from the ground or just about any kind of feeder. Sweet song. This bird is native to the western USA & Mexico but is now found through-out the US. In the 1940s they were sold illegally as Hollywood Finches. The yellow form, show below, is due to diet. I'm guessing that after a molt it could return to the normal red color.
